Micromax Andro A60
running on Android 2.1 Eclair
Micromax has launched India's cheapest Android phone A60 priced at Rs. 6999, price is now conformed and is official. This Andro smartphone runs Google Android 2.1 operating system and is the cheapest android phone available in India right now. Main features of this Micromax Andro A60 model are 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen display, 3.2 MegaPixel camera, 600 Mhz processor and a 2GB SD card in the box with 150 MB internal memory for storage and processing.

Micromax is currently the largest mobile vendor in India and is now targeting high technology high end mobile phones for the youth at lower price range. Another example of such phone is Modu T by Micromax which is the world's lightest mobile phone with 3G technology enable weighting only 55gms.

Office website of the Andro A60 by micromax is reachable at My first Android. Currently Andro A60 uses Android 2.1 as the operating system which doesn't allow to install apps on memory card and with only 150mb internal memory you need to cut the amount of apps you can install on the phone. This may be overcome easily soon when micromax release update for A60 with android 2.2 updated.
