Finally CBI submitted the report of Arushi murder case that was pending for almost 30 months now. CBI said that there are no strong evidence against the inmates of the house but the needle points towards them. CBI filed the closure report before the court admitting that they hit the dead end in investigation and there is no strong evidence against anyone in the double murder case.
Rajesh Talwar, father of the victim Arushi, is certainly not happy with the CBI report after such a long delay and investigations. He admitted that he was not informed about the report by CBI and got the news from the media and television. Talwar's lawyer Satish Tamta said that there was no communication between the investigation agency and the parents of the victim.
Aarushi was just 15 when she was brutally murdered and her dead body was found with her throat slit in the Noida home of her dentist parents in the intervening night of May 15-16, 2008. The body of domestic help Hemraj was also discovered on the terrace a day later by the Delhi Police. CBI took over the case when UP and Delhi Police were unable to find any breakthrough in the case.
In the final report submitted by CBI it was clearly indicated that there is no evidence of anyone from outside breaking into the house during the night of the double murder and chances are there that inmates or insiders are involved in this double murder, though agency clearly stated in the report that there is no concrete evidence against anyone in the case.
