Movie review: No One Killed Jessica

Movie Review: No One Killed Jessica - ***1/2 Stars

No One Killed Jessica
On the very first week of the opening movie has alredy created lot of buzz in bollywood and is considered by many critics as the good begnning for film industry in year 2011. No One Kille Jessica paid off really well for director Rajkumar Gupta, maker of the Aamir.

The movie does not follow the murder story as it is, but rather shows off the way Tehelka, a tabloid in India, used various different methods and ways to get the truth out of the witnesses of the Jessica Lall murder. The movie also depicts the importance of media and the awareness it brings to people even by dubious means like sensatioanlizing the story.

No One Killed Jessica received a numurious positive as well as negative reviews from movie critics. Most of the critics gave it ratings in the range of 3 to 4 stars out of 5 and movie is also a commerical hit in the very first week of the opening.

No One Killed Jessica starts with a voice-over of Rani Mukerji. Voice describes the lives of high power politicians and socialities of Delhi and how they influence and missuse their power for personal benefits. The first ten minutes of the movie is extremely fast paced but the story eventually slows down and takes lot of time to reach the climax. Movie also shows the helplessness of the family of Jessica Lall.

All and all movie is worth a watch.

hi...
found a grave mistake in the movie no one killed jessica.
while manu sharma is digging the earth to hide the weapon of murder "the pistol", a vehicle passes by with the blowing the horn which is the music of the title song of the movie "dhoom".
well people, dhoom was released in august 2004 whereas jessica was murdered on 29th april 1999....
is the vehicle driver nostradamus or nicholas cage of the movie NEXT (provided he foresees 5 years of future)???
i m surprised that no one else noticed this....
